The Epitome of Grace By Style: Michelle Obama

This weekly segment focuses on women who bring a positive image to the world stage. These are women who impact the world with grace, elegance, dignity and style. These ladies do not charm the world with with just physical features, sex appeal or disgraceful antics. These ladies are a rare breed in modern society who command as much respect and honor as she gives. She balances work, play and family while giving back to her community and to the world.

The first honoree in our segment is Mrs. Michelle Obama. She is wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, public servant, executive, attorney and one impressive First Lady of this great country of ours, the United States of America. A Chicago girl, she is the daughter of Frasier and Marion Robinson and sister to author and coach, Craig Robinson. Mrs. Obama came from modest means and hardworking parents before launching to the world stage and solidifying her place in american history as the first black First Lady. Perhaps, it was the values learned from her hardworking and loving parents that successfully lead her through the Chicago Public School system into achieving degrees from two ivy league institutions, Princeton and Harvard Universities.

Upon graduating from Harvard, Mrs. Obama landed a position at a prestigious law firm that became the backdrop for one of the greatest romances in history leading to one of the most powerful couples and admired families in modern America and the world. Mrs. Obama and her husband, President Barack Obama, are parents to two beautiful and graceful young daughters, Malia and Sasha. Together the Obamas have taken the world by storm. There is no doubt that both young ladies will, in their time, emerge as epitomes of grace and style, and rock the world as their parents did in the presidential election of 2008 and the current run of the Obama administration. Mrs. Obama is a great advocate of community service, fitness, military support and all things America.

Here's to you Mrs. Obama.
